The High-Precision Complexes holding (part of Rostec defense enterprise) sent new efficient small arms to the Russian army, the holding’s press service wrote on November 4.

“JSC Konstruktorskoe Buro Priborostroeniya sent GM-94 grenade launchers, AGS-30 and PP-2000 submachine guns to the military,” the press service said. The delivery was carried out within the framework of the state defense order.

Before the weapons were shipped to the customer, the sighting systems were adjusted, test firing and control checks were carried out. The company noted the demand for the GM-94 grenade launcher in the air defense zone.

“The product [GM-94 – Rossa Primavera News Agency] is especially important for servicemen fighting with the entrenched enemy,” the holding explained. The AGS-30 grenade launcher system does not restrict the mobility of a soldier during combat and has increased firepower.

The PP-2000 uses 9×19 Parabellum ammunition, including armor-piercing 7N31 cartridges produced by the Kolomna Instrumentation Bureau, and is one of the lightest in the world. Its weight without magazine and stock is about 1.4 kg. One of the features of the PP-2000 is the use of the spare magazine as a shoulder rest. The rifle can be adjusted for both right-handed and left-handed shooters.

The implementation of the state defense order is regulated by Federal Law No. 275-FZ, which is a regulatory document to the federal law on public procurement. Only legal entities can act as buyers within the defense order. Individuals and foreign companies are not allowed to participate in procurement.
