Kurginyan: Why stir panic over the pandemic?

21.04.2020, Moscow.

There are many peculiar things in the situation with the coronavirus, said the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 19 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on Russian One channel.

Today, many opinions exist regarding the virus, and it is normal to have different opinions on the situation since the phenomenon is complex, stressed the political scientist.

“If we talk about something peculiar, then the whole point of working with immunity is a peculiar thing. There you have some sort of hyperimmune reaction that turns out to be more dangerous than the disease itself, non-standard behavior with respect to immunity, plus something else that keeps saying that there’s something strange,” said the expert.

The state and society have no right to stir panic or reduce the severity or the scale of the situation at the same time.

“Therefore, we can refer only to the official sources for statistics. And as soon as we focus on them we see that there is no catastrophe which is stirred in a frenzy in order to claim that the whole world is dying,” said Kurginyan.

Therefore, something else is happening, and that begs the question: why has it been done?

Background
