Vladimir Zelensky announced the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada [Ukrainian parliament – translator’s note] during his swearing-in ceremony on May 20.
Also, the new Ukrainian President called for stripping lawmakers of immunity from prosecution.
Former comedian Vladimir Zelensky won the Ukrainian presidential elections in 2019.
