Russian troops liberated the village of Gorobyovka in Kharkov Region during an offensive, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service reported on October 18.
“In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Russian army during the offensive seized the settlement of Gorobyovka in the Kharkov region and caused significant losses to units of the 1st operational brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard,” the report stated.
The Russian ministry also noted that Ukrainian armed units attempted to attack Kislovka in the Kharkov region with the support of a company tactical group but failed. The enemy was pushed back to its initial position, losing 60 men, a tank and three armored vehicles.
In previous days Ukrainian forces repeatedly tried to attack Russian positions in the Kharkov region but were defeated and lost their troops.
