The Western elites has become so petty that they organized the Freedom Night party during the recent Munich Security Conference, said philosopher, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 22 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
The Freedom Night party, with its slogan “Drink To Defeat Putin,” was a significant highlight at the Munich Security Conference, noted the political scientist. “It was a very petty act. This describes how terribly shallow these people have become. They could have organized, let’s say, – some kind of torchlight procession; a Nuremberg-type rally, with crowds growling and screaming about the fact that ‘Putin is a monster.’ Instead, they are quietly boozing in far from full attendance, so to speak,” explained Sergey Kurginyan.
The Western political “mice” drink against Putin, they do not show their teeth, but rather hang out and drink in a heavily guarded bar – against Putin, noted the analyst.
“It shows what these people are made of. This is not Churchill and his speech in Fulton, this is not McCarthy, or Reagan, not even Bush Sr. This is something very new, mean and petty, loose and insignificant on the inside,” explained the expert.
The “party” did not take place at some meaningful location, it happened at a bar, stressed Sergey Kurginyan.
“One side of this coin shows the incredible degradation of the entire Western elites,” the political scientist explained.
“Once I referred to Isaac Babel story about Ben Krik, a notorious criminal from the city of Odessa, as well as his father Mendel Krik, who was quoted saying: ‘What does Mendel Krik think about?’ He thinks about having a drink of vodka, about punching someone in the face and about his horses, and he doesn’t think about anything else.’ Now, What does Ursula von der Lyayen think about? What does she or Olaf Scholz, think about? It is a very serious question: ‘what’ do Biden and his entourage think about? What we are witnessing is such a terrible degeneration,” said Sergey Kurginyan.
If the degenerated Western elites are exposing themselves in such a view to the world community, then it means that the actual major figures in the West, on the contrary, have stepped aside. This is due to the fact that none of them wants to avoid a catastrophe; they will get involved only after it happens, the philosopher explained.
