Russia is forced to fight in a state after thirty years of attempts to integrate into the West, and when the reality created by such attempts still exists, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time social movement Sergey Kurginyan said on June 6 in the new issue of his original broadcast Destiny.
“This is the pitiful, bourgeois, slimy, merger-oriented, demented, criminal reality created by the attempts to integrate into the West in which we have been living for thirty years and the prologue of which was the last twenty years of Brezhnev’s rule. This is it!” Kurginyan pointed out.
The political scientist suggested to take this reality into account and noted that right now it does not matter for him who steals and how. He recalled the activities of the 201st Division in Tajikistan in 1992, which had to be turned a blind eye because one could not let the Wahhabis, who were just like beasts, win the war.
“One high-ranking officer used to say to me, ‘Take your young associate away, because he’s always asking me: ‘Please, explain.’ Here you don’t ask, but he asks. And sometimes, Sergey Ervandovich, it’s much easier to shoot him than to explain.’ I understood what we were talking about, and what stuff, where and how, and on whose orders is being transited. I was not interested in this, I always understood what this Colbasna [border crossing point at the Colbasna railway station –Rossa Primavera News Agency’s note] is, and what is going on there,” Kurginyan explained.
The analyst said that he officially served as an advisor to the president of Transnistria, loves this region very much and is proud of this stage of his life. He noted that Transnistria is very different in the type of human existence and everything else from Donbass.
“Donbass has always been much tougher, sharper, more contradictory, internally ambiguous both in the tsar’s era and then,” the political scientist said.
“But I love Donbass in all its contradictions, I’m not going to dig into details of those contradictions at all. But is there anyone who does not understand that we are fighting a war while remaining this very bourgeois state with all its ambiguities,” Kurginyan concluded.
