12.02.2023, Khartoum.

The president of the Patriots party Florian Philippot cut the NATO flag in two during a nationwide demonstration for peace and against arms supplies to Kiev on February 12, according to a video posted on his Twitter page.

On Sunday, a march against the French government’s policy of escalating the conflict in Ukraine and against arms deliveries to Zelensky’s regime was held in Paris from 2:00 p.m. During the final rally, the president of the Patriots cut the NATO flag in two with scissors in front of thousands of people, declaring that “NATO is war!”

“Before we leave NATO, let’s cut its flag! <> Freedom, Independence, Peace!” the politician commented on a video posted on his Twitter page with the act of destroying the flag.

“Unbelievable, thousands and thousands of French people right now in Paris are shouting: ‘Let’s get out of NATO faster! And [they shout: ] “No tanks, no planes, no missiles in Ukraine, Peace! A great call for peace and resistance!”  the president of the Patriots posted on Twitter.

“Huge success of the first #MarcheNationalePourLaPaix (Nationwide March for Peace) manifestation: a very large number of participants in Paris! And in 25 cities in France! Peace! Withdrawal from NATO! “Stop sending weapons!” the politician added.

This week, Florian Philippot published an open letter to French MPs and politicians with an appeal to come to Sunday’s march and oppose the insane policy of the French and EU authorities to escalate the conflict in Ukraine.
