Russian military send more than 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Syrians

Residents of Syria who suffered from the earthquake received 52.5 tons of humanitarian aid from the Russian military, Major General Oleg Yegorov, deputy head of the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides said on February 12.

Yegorov noted that Russian servicemen helped to pull 47 people from the rubble, and 271 Syrian citizens received medical assistance from military medics.

The officer stressed that the Russian Armed Forces continue to provide assistance to Aleppo, Latakia and Khama which have suffered from the disaster in .
