In case the Ukrainian army weakens, the US will force Poland to take part in combat hostilities in Ukraine, said Polish political analyst Leszek Sykulski, Gazeta Wyborcza reported on November 20.
“If Ukraine weakens, the Americans will put pressure on the Polish government to provide direct assistance to Kiev,” Sykulski wrote in his article for Gazeta Wyborcza.
The political scientist claims that Poland is already preparing for combat operations in Ukraine. Sykulski writes that the law “On Defense of the Fatherland” has entered into force.
This law restores compulsory military service. The author notes that in theory this law also introduces compulsory military service for women.
“Apparently, someone desperately needs cannon fodder,” ponders the political scientist, and, turning to readers, asks the question “ask yourself if we want it.”
