Russia is the country that is currently at the forefront of the struggle against the anti-humanist collective West, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 1 on the Russia One channel.
“Look how it happened. We seemed to have said, ‘Okay, we are integrating with them, perfect, we will be like them…’ But as soon we saw the abnormalities taking place there ― ‘What are you doing?’ Who was the first to say this? Not the billions-strong countries like India or China. It is us who have now found ourselves at this forefront,” the political scientist said.
Kurginyan stressed that Russia as an alternative to the Western world can propose an alternative humanistic future to the humanity.
“Why is Asia providing so little support to the West? Because it realizes that the West with exterminate it… They hate it on the inside. Meanwhile, a sort of a feeling of hope is rising here in Russia. If Russia speaks it out then we will withstand,” the political scientist believes.
Kurginyan noted that the West, in contrast to Russia, abandoned the humanistic ideals ― “they rejected all their fundamental ideas,” the political scientist says.
“Everything they are doing is anti-humane. It is them who said ‘the end of the project of Man,’ ‘the end of the project of Humanism,’ ‘the end of History.’ But we are saying that history continues. Man will ascend. Humanism is our future, not our past,” Kurginyan believes.
The political scientist stressed Russia’s “otherness” dictating that the Russian ruling elites should once and for all abandon the idea of “integration” into the Western world.
“After a while, given the villainy taking place in the West, 200 to 300 million people will be producing enough for the entire humanity. They will also be the first to pose a question why the rest of the people are needed. For what they need people? To produce. We, in contrast, need people for them to ascend, towards the God or to Man with a capital M,” Kurginyan said.
He reminded that Russia and the West rest on different civilizational and ideological foundations.
“When we adopted the Western Marxist model we transformed it into the Russian communism… ‘An unbreakable union of free republics, Great Russia has united forever!’ Moreover, what did Stalin say? ‘Hitlers come and go, but the German people remain.’ Who wanted to dismember Germany and exterminate the people? The Anglo-Saxons. But our position was different,” the political scientist reminded.
“According to Bismarck, ‘a state is built with iron and blood’? ― ‘But we will try with love,’ Tyutchev said. The point is that we are an alternative West. And the West hates us primarily because we are also a West. We are a Christian European country, too. But an absolutely different one,” Kurginyan said.
On February 24, Russia started a military special operation for the demilitarization and denazification in Ukraine. Russian army’s major clashes take place with the units of Ukrainian nationalists, which became part of the Ukrainian army after the coup d’etat of 2014.
It is the nationalist units that were responsible for the genocide of civilians in Donbass. During the denazification operation, the Ukrainian nationalists use Ukrainian civilians as a human shield placing multiple-launch rocket systems in residential areas of cities.
