The Russian Federation was not accepted into NATO because the West only needs Russia dismembered and dead, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the air of The Great Game program on Channel One.
Kurginyan indicated that President of Russia Vladimir Putin had no intention to be at odds with the West as he is a pro-Western leader who hoped back in 2000 that the contemporary Russian Federation would integrate into Europe and NATO. However, Russia was not admitted there, even after 9/11 when Putin was the first to offer the US help after the twin towers tragedy.
“President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin told the journalists with a purpose, as he believed that this would be sensational, that back in 2000 he asked Clinton whether they would accept [Russia] into NATO, whether it was possible [for Russia] to join NATO. Thus he emphasized again that he had always been a pro-Western leader seeking for the sovereign Russian state to integrate into Europe and NATO. Why did not this happen?” the political scientist wondered.
“Why did not they accept? The reason is that they can only perceive this state as ‘good’ when it is dismembered and dead. This has always been the point,” he added.
According to Kurginyan, Putin had to make the decision on the Ukraine demilitarization and denazification special operation under time pressure, because everything was prepared for a strike both in the Black Sea and near Donetsk.
“Another 24 hours of delay would result in absolutely irreparably powerful attacks,” Kurginyan stressed.
On February 24, Russia started a military special operation for the demilitarization and denazification in Ukraine. Russian army’s major clashes take place with the units of Ukrainian nationalists, which became part of the Ukrainian army after the coup d’etat of 2014.
It is the nationalist units that were responsible for the genocide of civilians in Donbass. During the denazification operation, the Ukrainian nationalists use Ukrainian civilians as a human shield placing multiple-launch rocket systems in residential areas of cities.
