The United States’ attempts to destroy China are backfiring and harming the US itself, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan stated on August 21 during the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio.
According to the political scientist, the US elites jubilantly crushed the Soviet Union and set about finishing off Russia and everything else with great relish, believing that this was a sure sign of their future world domination, and, to some extent, they were right.. John Paul II described the ensuing collapse of communism as building a “civilization of death.”
“In reality, this destruction of an ideology that envisioned a new humanism, Man’s ascension, has resulted in a complete absence of any ideology linked to the future of the human and humanity as a whole,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.
He noted that it is now absolutely unclear what to do with the human, and this issue takes precedence over all others, including the question of whether China or the US will be the number-one power.
As Sergey Kurginyan pointed out, China will have to overcome a great deal of obstacles in order to achieve the hegemony it seeks, and it is doing so.
“China was blocked from access to the specialized lithography technology needed to manufacture state-of-the-art chips, yet China is making completely new, groundbreaking discoveries there that could revolutionize the global electronics industry. It isn’t backing down, though it faces many challenges. One certainly cannot call it a country without problems,” he added.
At the same time, when the United States strives to destroy China, it ends up undermining itself. It is suddenly discovering that by attacking China, it is attacking itself as well, the political scientist observed.
He emphasized that the world has entered a very difficult phase. The complexity of global problems is immense, and amidst this tangle, all eyes sooner or later turn to Russia as a place from which one might “obtain, steal, or snatch” solutions to these global issues.
If the US were to conquer Russia (something, the political analyst says, will never happen) and station missiles near China’s border, China would immediately find itself so firmly in the crosshairs of those missiles, and its sole priority would become mere survival rather than prosperity. The US would demonstrate to the entire world how a rebellious Russia had been punished and would suppress any further uprisings, while simultaneously using Russia’s vast resources to plug its own staggering deficits.
“All these ideas do exist, except one: making Russia an equal partner to the West or anyone else. Russia has no reason to expect anyone in the world to treat it as a friend, a brother, an equal power, or anything of the sort,” explained the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
At the same time, he noted that India and China, nations that once “worshipped” the Soviet Union as an “elder brother”, have moved past that state of admiration; and when powers cease their endless bowing to an “elder brother,” their attitude toward him often shifts to the opposite extreme.
