Western countries will not agree to strengthen sanctions against Russia unless Ukraine starts mobilizing 18-year-old men, an adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, said on 11 June, the Ukrainian daily Strana has reported.
According to him, the West is linking the mobilization of 18-year-olds and the strengthening of sanctions against Russia. According to Podolyak, the Kiev regime will not agree to such a measure.
The Kiev representative believes that by linking these two issues, the Western countries are masking their unwillingness to give up the financial advantages of trading with Russia.
