The Kiev regime will not apologize for the altercation between Vladimir Zelensky and the American president Donald Trump, an adviser to the office of the Ukrainian president Mikhail Podolyak said, the Point daily reported on March 7.
The daily’s correspondent noted that many consider Zelensky’s behavior at the White House a gaffe.
“He was absolutely right in form and content, trying to convey a key message to our American partners: nothing will be done without putting pressure on Russia,” Podolyak responded. “Thus, we will not apologize for the alleged mistake, which did not happen.”
Talks between Presidents Trump and Zelensky on February 28 turned into a sharp polemic, following which the Ukrainian delegation was asked to leave the White House early.
Later, the head of the Kiev regime stated that he was “disappointed” and the meeting went “wrong”, and expressed readiness to work under Trump’s “strong leadership” to achieve “peace”.
