The law on extending martial law and mobilization in Ukraine was signed by Vladimir Zelensky, the Ukrainian online newspaper Strana.ua reported on 5 February.
The publication said, “Zelensky signed the law on extending martial law and mobilization in Ukraine until May 9.”
On January 15, the Verkhovnaya Rada supported the extension of martial law and mobilization until May 9, that is, for another 90 days.
Martial law and general mobilization were introduced in Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Since then, martial law has been repeatedly extended.
