Iskander-M missile system of the Russian Armed Forces struck the place of concentration of Ukrainian manpower and weapons, military and special equipment in Sumy region, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported in its Telegram channel on February 5.
“The Iskander-M missile system struck the place where the Ukrainian territorial defense brigade in the village of Stetskovka in Sumy region gathered its manpower and air defense equipment,” the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the strike destroyed more than 50 units of various military equipment, as well as an ammunition depot.
On December 1, 2023, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a strike by the Iskander-M complex destroyed a Ukrainian temporary deployment point, located near the village of Rovnoye in Nikolayev region.
It should be noted that on November 23, 2023, the Russian Defense Ministry said that a missile of the Iskander-M complex destroyed Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet at the airfield, as well as up to 15 engineering and technical personnel.
