Kurginyan: Orban is acting as a mediator in order to receive dividends

28.12.2024, Moscow.

In the West, all political forces that are currently in power want Russia to die, and the only argument among them is about the method of murder, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, acting as a mediator, simply wants to receive his dividends, said the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on December 7 on the Right to Know program on TVC channel.

When everyone is saying that Russians should be destroyed, Orban starts saying: Well, you know, maybe not completely; look at me, I do not have claws,” the analyst described the general situation.

The Hungarian Prime Minister enjoys the backing from the Vatican and the House of Habsburg, as well as from George Soros [for some time he was receiving funding from the Soros foundations (organizations banned in Russia), possibly under the guise of grants — Rossa Primavera News Agency’s note], the political scientist said. At the same time, Russia may well take advantage of the fact that he is making a political maneuver, the analyst noted.

It seems to me that all these intermediaries have two tasks. First and foremost, they have the task of being a mediator: to be able to sit on both chairs at the same time and as a friendly calf suck two mothers, it’s delicious. And you cannot do this unless you make a pass the other side. Secondly, mediator gets something out of it, the expert explained.

There is no deadlier conflict than the one between Europe and the US, Sergey Kurginyan emphasized. There is no such thing as solidarity between them, there is deep mutual hatred, which is simply hidden.

Does Pope Francis want everything to become subordinate to the US? Why would he? As they said, the Soviets have their own pride. The Vatican has its own!” the philosopher noted.

Continental Europe does not want at all what the Hungarians do, Sergey Kurginyan explained. Europe is happy seeing the US failures, and now demands to share power with it a bit. At the same time, both the US and the EU are united in their hatred of Russia.

The mediator lives off the interest’ from investment and is never on your side completely. Conservative Europe is a separate issue, it is acting a little bit like a rebel towards the US. Why not play this chess game wisely? It is possible,” the political scientist summed up his opinion about Orban.

On December 11, Orban made a telephone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin. They discussed the situation in Ukraine. After that, the Hungarian prime minister said that he also called the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky, and he refused the offer to conclude a Christmas truce and conduct a prisoner exchange.

Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president’s press secretary, confirmed Orban’s words. Russia immediately responded to this and handed over the list of prisoners of war for exchange, but Kiev refused.
