The authorities of Mali plan to take measures to prevent the destabilization of the country’s political system by Ukrainian embassies, the press service of the Malian government stated on August 5, TASS informed.
“Take the necessary measures to prevent any destabilization of Mali from the territory of African states, in particular from Ukrainian embassies located in the subregion [of the Sahel], with terrorists disguised as diplomats,” reads the statement from the cabinet of ministers.
“Mali considers support for Ukraine as support for international terrorism,” the communique stated.
The Malian government expresses support for the Russian Federation’s policy regarding Ukraine and also calls in an official appeal to regional and international organizations and to states supporting Ukraine to cease supporting international terrorism.
