Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin called French President Emmanuel Macron’s words about sending NATO troops to Ukraine insane dreams on March 15 at a roundtable discussion on the history of foreign military intervention during the Civil War period.
Naryshkin advised the French leaders represented by President Macron and Foreign Minister Sejournet, as well as the leaders of neo-Nazi Baltic regimes to read Konstantin Paustovsky. According to the SVR Director, this could help them get rid of their insane and paranoid dreams.
Naryshkin quoted some of the writer’s statements about the previous French military presence in Europe.
