Europe is dramatically non-sovereign towards the United States of America, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on February 22 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
According to the political scientist, it took a long and hard effort for President of Russia Vladimir Putin to understand the extent of Europe’s non-sovereignty.
“It is very hard to understand. Indeed, Europe is so non-sovereign towards the US that the nature of this non-sovereignty can hardly be understood. It is very deep,” Kurginyan said.
The political scientist told that a top official of a major German party who regretted for the USSR once told him that he could change the power in Germany in three days and establish an authority as in the German Democratic Republic. However, the politician said, after four days it would be occupied by the US. Then the German politician asked Kurginyan, “What have you done in 1991?”
“Europe is dramatically non-sovereign, and this is a great mystery; inside, there is a deliberate re-configuration of forces: some are withdrawn, others are promoted. Apparently, there must be someone for whom this degradation is reasonable and clever, and the only indispensable fact in this structure is that it is democracy against authoritarianism, and first of all against Russia,” Kurginyan said.
He added that the US fears China much more than it fears Russia, because China is a fundamental factor. However, the political scientist noted, it cannot be defeated until the US disposes of Russia.
