The United States is afraid of Europe’s strengthening as much as of China’s, because Europe as a consolidated center of power would be able to challenge the US, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on February 22 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The political scientist wondered what will happen if the US refuses to provide its nuclear shield to Europe. In his opinion, only one country in the EU is capable of creating its own nuclear shield; it is Germany. However, the leader of Essence of Time stressed, it needs to receive certain authorization to do so.
“And then, over ten to fifteen years, they can attempt to make a European nuclear shield. To this end, however, they will need to raise Germany from its fundamentally humiliated position, in which it has been over all these decades, to a position of a new Reich. Is the US ready for that or not? They fear Europe’s strengthening as much as China’s,” the leader of Essence of Time noted.
Kurginyan explained that the US, for a number of reasons, cannot grow fast enough in the contemporary world. Those who pace out the US begin to appear. However, according to all the classified US security reports, any country is claimed a threat as soon as it reaches a level from which it can challenge the US.
“It must not reach a level from which it can potentially pose a challenge. And what country is it in the classified US documents? It does not have to be authoritarian or democratic or whatever else. It is any country that can pose a challenge and become a kind of a competitor to the US in its economic and military power. That is enough to claim such a country a threat,” the leader of Essence of Time explained.
Sergey Kurginyan added that from this point of view the EU is a deadly threat to the US, because it can transform into a united consolidated center of power, and the US will do everything it can to prevent it. In particular, it cannot permit a situation where the Russian raw materials combine with the German industrial power, because such a combination would challenge the US.
“This is why splitting Germany and Russia to counter any Russian-German connections is a top priority of the US policy. And it has been accomplished. Now Germany is a country whose relatively optimistic growth has switched to a decline. It has no gas and it will never have it, it has no oil and it will never have it, the crazy climatic concepts along with the lack of cheap raw materials means that the German industry can actually make no competition,” Kurginyan said.
He explained that, on the one hand, Germany has been smacked down to prevent it from uniting with Russia. And, on the other hand, it is forced to cover the military expenses.
