Russia delivered 37 strikes on military facilities in Ukraine in a week

The Russian military carried out 37 group strikes on targets in Ukraine over the past week using high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on the agency’s website on February 3.

The press service said that during the week from January 27 to February 3, the Russian Armed Forces delivered 37 group strikes on military facilities located in Ukraine. The strikes were carried out using high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles. The targets of the strikes were decision-making centers, facilities of the military-industrial complex, military airfield infrastructure, arsenals and fuel bases of the Ukrainian armed units.

The press service said that the targets also included locations of Ukrainian armed units, nationalist units, and foreign mercenaries.

According to the press office, “all designated targets were hit.”

The press service also noted that over the past week, Russian soldiers repelled more than 90 attacks by Ukrainian militants along the entire front line, with Kiev militants making the most attempts to break through the Russian army’s defenses in the Kupyansk direction, 41 attempts. According to the press service, during this period Kiev lost over 6,000 militants killed and wounded, as well as a large amount of military equipment.

The Russian Armed Forces hit seven launchers of anti-aircraft missile systems during the week, including five S-300 launchers, one SAMP-T manufactured by France and one IRIS-T manufactured by Germany. Three Norwegian-made NASAMS radars, two S-300 anti-aircraft missile system radars, one IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system radar, and six Ukrainian ammunition depots were also destroyed.

During the week, aviation and air defense forces shot down 20 Ukrainian aircraft guided missiles, including four HARM anti-radar missiles, a JDAM guided aerial bomb, 53 rockets of the HIMARS, Uragan and Alder systems, and 423 unmanned aerial vehicles.
