18.11.2023, Moscow.

The destruction of ammunition depots of the Ukrainian armed units in Kiev, Zhitomyr and Dnepropetrovsk regions of Ukraine is taking place amid a delay in military supplies from Western countries, RIA Novosti wrote on November 18.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian aviation, missile forces, drones and artillery over the past day hit the Ukrainian ammunition arsenals in the areas of Karpilovka in the Kiev and Aleksandrovka settlements of the Zhytomyr region, as well as at the Lozovatka airfield in the Dnepropetrovsk region. In addition, a successful strike on a fuel storage facility near the village of Vygoda in the Odessa region was reported.

According to the Bloomberg news agency, citing a source, the USA will be able to allocate new aid to Ukraine no sooner than mid-December.

In October, the USA allocated Ukraine a new defense aid package worth $200 million, including air defense missiles, artillery ammunition, anti-tank weapons and equipment for fighting drones.
