Ukrainian troops shelled the Kiev district of Donetsk with Western-made heavy artillery. A representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Issues related to the Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC) said this on September 14.
“The shelling by the Ukrainian armed units was reported along in the direction: 09:10 a.m. – from village Netailovo – Donetsk city (Kiev district): 3 155mm shells were fired,” the statement reads.
The Ukrainian nationalists use not only barrel artillery but also multiple rocket launchers, including foreign models such as the US HIMARS or German MARS II, to shell towns in Donbass.
