Kurginyan: Russia is now strategically alone

08.09.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

Allies will only support Russia as long it is good for them, and they only pursue their current interests, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on August 22 in a new issue of his original broadcast Destiny.

Our so-called allies only pursue their own current interests. That’s it! They support us because the US fail to offer a price high enough to stop their support, the leader of Essence of Time stressed.

Sergey Kurginyan explained that the United States cannot offer such a price to China because it is too high. And, according to the political scientist, if China receives it it will take the lead forever, it will become number one, and the USA cannot allow this to happen.

Besides, Kurginyan stressed that it is good that Russia has allies, and we need to maintain this.

It is good that there are those who have not become totally against us. It is good that there are those who hesitate and maneuver. All this must be supported. In principle, however, this is a situation when we are alone, strategically alone,” the political scientist stressed.

He added that this was an inevitable situation. It did not depend of what certain officials did, “we could not have avoided it.”

Sergey Kurginyan noted that in the current situation, a great danger is posed by the official myth that in Russia everything is perfect, i.e. a myth that a perfect and efficient country has been built on the ruins of the USSR. According to the political scientist, “as long as this myth rules we will fail to prepare for the coming challenges.”

Sergey Kurginyan’s statement that Russia is strategically alone is well supported by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa who said before the BRICS summit that “we will not be drawn into a contest between global powers.”

South Africa thus sends a message that the enlargement of the bloc will not be anti-Western. South Africa seeks to appease the USA fearing that Washington could take trade links with Russia for reluctance to condemn Russia’s Special Operation.
