The Smerch multiple rocket launcher of the Russian Vostok army group struck a command post of the Ukrainian armed units in the village of Trudovoye in the Zaporozhye direction, the head of the group’s press center Oleg Chekhov said RIA Novosti on June 1.
Using the heavy multiple rocket launcher system TOS-1 Solntsepyok, Russian servicemen also hit two strongholds near the villages of Stepovoye and Privolnoye in the same direction. They also found and destroyed a reconnaissance unit near the village of Lobkovoye. Using Gvozdika self-propelled artillery units, they shelled enemy manpower in the villages of Poltavka and Malaya Tokmachka.
“An armored group of the motorized rifle regiment destroyed an enemy unit equipped with the anti-tank grenade launcher near Novomikhailovka. The TOS-1 Solntsepyok crew hit the militants’ stronghold near Ugledar,” Chekhov added.
Also, Russian anti-aircraft units used Tor and Strela-10 systems to shoot down Furiya and Leleka drones.
