Suspended due to heavy fog, the transit of ships through the Turkish Dardanelles Strait has been resumed, the press service of the Vessel Traffic Service Administration posted the information on the global ship tracking system (MarineTraffic) on January 2.
The press service said that “navigation was resumed in the normal mode after the fog had cleared“.
Vessel transit was suspended for more than four hours due to very thick fog in the strait.
