Joint forces liberated the village of Bogorodichnoye in the DPR, the aide of the LPR interior minister Vitaliy Kiselyov wrote on his Telegram channel on July 11.
An offensive aimed at capturing Slavyansk is now being prepared, he added.
“Joint forces have liberated the village of Bogorodichnoye in the DPR, a powerful bridgehead for an offensive aimed at capturing Slavyansk is being prepared,” Kiselyov wrote.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special operation in Ukraine in response to requests for assistance from the DPR and LPR.
The goals of the special operation were stated to be the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.
On July 3, it was announced that the entire territory of the LPR had been liberated. Part of the Kharkiv region, the part of the Zaporozhye region near the Azov sea, and Mariupol were also liberated.
On July 11, Vladimirovka and Tripolye were liberated.
