Kurginyan: The US begins to sweep away Europe

15.03.2022, Moscow.

The US is destroying Europe, said political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 12 during the broadcast of the Right to Know! program on the TVC channel.

As a result of the regional conflict in Ukraine, the US is “about to start sweeping away Europe,” believes the political scientist.

It is bleating, just like a sheep at the slaughter,” said Kurginyan, noting that Europe is already under pressure from a huge flow of refugees, and economic sanctions are making it worse.

As a result of these sanctions, there will be a food crisis, not a catastrophe, but a very big crisis. Firstly, this disaster will hit Africa, and millions more will flea Africa. What will become of Europe then?” poses the question the political scientist.

Since 2014, Europe has faced a serious migration crisis. The region has been flooded with illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East.

For example, if in the first decade of the 21st century up to about 25 thousand illegal immigrants came to Europe in one year, then in 2014, there were already 900 thousand people, in 2015 – 1.048 million people, and according to some reports, even more. Among the main reasons for what was happening were unrest in the Arab world, including a series of coups d’état – the so-called “Arab Spring“, as well as wars in Syria, Libya and so on.

The flow of refugees from Ukraine to neighboring countries has increased. On February 17, the Ukrainian side has started a sharp escalation of military action in the Donbass region of Ukraine. Bomb shelling of the DPR and LPR territories have intensified, as well as the activity of Ukrainian sabotage groups. As early as on February 18, the political leadership of the republics announced the evacuation of the population to Russia. During the first day, about 30 thousand people left for the Rostov region.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. The President emphasized that this was done in response to the requests of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) for help, and there is no talk of a war with the Ukrainian people. Ukraine’s demilitarization and denazification are the goals.

According to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), more than 2.5 million people have now fled Ukraine. The organization expects that in the near future their number will increase to about 4 million people. Many are heading to the EU countries.
