Kurginyan predicts when the special operation will end

15.03.2022, Moscow.

The special operation for the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine will end in July in an optimistic scenario or in September in a pessimistic one, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on Right to Know! program on the TVC channel on March 12.

“Optimistically it will be July, pessimistically September,” this is how the political scientist answered a guest’s question when the special operation could end.

Kurginyan indicated that the Russian army is preserving the lives of civilians and ordinary servicemen of the Ukrainian army who are not members of the nationalist battalions. However, these units that have occupied a number of cities. They deliberately keep civilians as hostages, using them as human shields. This is why these cities cannot be liberated quickly if the lives of the civilians are not neglected.

“I rely on the information by the General Staff as well as Ukrainian information, which is always biased to the other side, of course, but they all recognize that there is no regular army coordinated from once center; maybe it is coordinated from the West, but it does not exist as one army, and air supremacy is completely ours. Most of the cities will be blocked within one month. Then the point is how long this block will last, thus prolonging the entire situation,” he said.

According the political scientist, the operation is going as planned, and the Ukrainian army has already lost it strategically.

On March 6 on Fox News, former Advisor of the US Secretary of Defense Colonel Douglas MacGregor said that the Ukrainian military is resorting to the methods of Middle Eastern extremists and using civilians as human shield.

He explains this tactics with the fact that the Ukrainian army has no mobility, no air defense, and no air cover. “We have seen this in Middle East. When we defeated the Islamists, they fled to the cities, used people; civilians, as human shields and tried to avoid destruction. And I think this is exactly what is happening today: the Ukrainian army is using the population to avoid defeat,” the military expert said.

On February 24, Russia started a special operation for the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. Russian army’s major clashes take place with the units of Ukrainian nationalists, which became part of the Ukrainian army after the coup d’etat of 2014.

It is the nationalist units that are responsible for the genocide of the people of Donbass. During the denazification operation, Ukrainian nationalists use Ukrainian civilians as hostages, detaining them in their homes and deploying MLRS weapons in the residential areas of cities.

On March 6, Ukrainian nationalists form the Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia) shelled a convoy of refugees from Mariupol.
