Russian Deputy Prime Minister: Russia can find other oil consumers if the West refuses

07.03.2022, Moscow.

Russia can divert oil supply streams in case the West rejects it. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak said on March 7, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper reported.

According to him, it is not a question for Russia where to redirect oil flows. “Only the question arises, who benefits from it? And why is it necessary?” Novak said.

He added that Russia has fulfilled and is fulfilling its obligations to ship oil and oil products. “We will continue to supply the market with the highest possible level of goods, leaving energy outside of politics,” Novak added. Nevertheless, Novak said Russia will implement all legal measures to protect its companies and consumers.
