LPR: Ukrainian military shells Nikolayevka village using mortars

Ukrainian military fired 82 mm mortar shells on Nikolayevka village in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the LPR representative at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) informed on November 5.

“At 11.23 am, from the area of Bolotennoye village, the Ukrainian army shelled the Nikolayevka village using 82mm mortars,” the statement reads.

Eight mortar shells were fired on the village. It is reported that Ukraine continues to violate the ceasefire. In doing so, it is using heavy weapons, which should have been withdrawn in accordance with the Minsk agreements.

At the moment, there is no information about casualties, it is being specified.

Earlier, Republican Senator Tom Cotton, in his article published by the Wall Street Journal, accused Russia of aggressive behavior towards Ukraine.

He believes that US President Joe Biden needs to urgently digress from the climate agenda in order to address this issue.

Readers of the newspaper commented on Cotton’s article, noting that Joseph Biden’s actions made them question his competence.

One of the commentators of the article noted that Biden is not an independent political figure and is not capable of adequately assessing the events taking place at the moment.
