The main feature of the current vaccination campaign is its ugly nature, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan stated in a new installment of the program The Meaning of the Game on August 31.
“The main feature of this pressure [to vaccinate] is that it is ugly,” he said, citing a well-known expression from Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novel Demons.
The political scientist noted the “ugly” nature of the polemics: “Opponents of the vaccination, including the most famous vaccination scientists who have expressed their concerns and have been very reasonable and discreet in their opposition to what is happening, have been pushed around boldly, rudely, brashly, senselessly, and without any evidence provided“.
According to Kurginyan, internationally renowned scientists, Nobel laureates, were deprived by the authorities of their public tribune, driven “to the fringe groups” and even placed in a psychiatric hospital for their position on the coronavirus.
According to the expert, the benefits of vaccines were discussed without the slightest respect for the position of others, “with a fanatical frenzy that reminds only of the Middle Ages“. Kurginyan compared the supporters of vaccination to the Catholics who slaughtered the Huguenots in the St. Bartholomew’s Day massacre. He recalled the vaccinators’ statements that the dissenters should be vaccinated by force, put in concentration camps, and compelled.
The leader of the Essence of Time also noted inconsistency in informing citizens. For example, masks were first declared lifesaving, then unnecessary, then lifesaving again, as he explained.
The political analyst noted that the opinion of the authorities regarding the vaccine also changed: first it was said that the vaccine protects from infection, then – that after vaccination one can get infected, but gets slightly ill, then – that one can get seriously ill, therefore, revaccination is required.
“All of this combined falls under the definition of ‘ugly’,” concluded Sergey Kurginyan.
