The West uses negotiations with Russia not for rapprochement, but for a containment, which at convenient moment will lead to the destruction of the country, said political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on May 17 on the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on Russia One channel.
In the 1990s, the disintegration of the country began when several regions started preparing for the secession after the defeat in the Cold War, recalled the political scientist.
“Gradual disintegration of Russia was everything that the West planned after its victory in the Cold War in the ‘90s: take as much sovereignty as you can, and so on? Help Chechnya. This strategy continues – Russia must be dismembered and destroyed. This is their ultimate plan, ” emphasized the expert.
Russia has recognized that the new Cold War is here to stay, and the West is trying to keep the country in its influence range through talks about negotiations. As soon as the West sees that Russia wants to “move”, it immediately offers “talks” in order to calm the situation down.
With every move, new smooth talks are offered: “They [Russia] want to move now. Please don’t, no need to, let’s talk. You see, now! We start talking and they no longer move. Calmed down. They moved again – we’ll have talks again.”
Such a policy will be disastrous for Russia, warned the expert. That being said, Russia is weak due to its elites having a hybrid state of mind, where the conservative and patriotic groups defends the county’s course towards sovereign development, while the pro-Western groups insist on continuing rapprochement with the West.
“This way, Russia is pushed into a situation where the moment of its final destruction will be ideal for the West. Any attempt to change the situation where this destruction will be perfectly orchestrated is stopped by this hybrid state of mind,” claims Kurginyan.
