Donbass’ fight against the pro-Bandera Ukraine is not just about a local conflict, for it has great meaning, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 5 on the air of the Tema program on the Union channel of Donetsk.
“Today Donbass is like Spain in 1930s, but it has managed to survive. It is also a narrative; in other words, it is an active part of the Russian world ready to fight,” noted Kurginyan.
According to Kurginyan, Donbass is in the forefront of today’s war against fascism. It is also a memory of the greatness that we cannot abandon—the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
This is why the life of all Donbass, including the civil population that has been facing war longer than the Great Patriotic war, has great meaning.
“There is misery and some ambiguity, butat the same time great meaning in this kind of life. This meaning is in the fight against the forces of global darkness, the enemies of humanity,” concluded Kurginyan.
