The Ukrainian army is provoking trench combat on the Gorlovka and Yasinovataya parts of the front, but the situation is relatively calm on the front line, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on August 7.
The Ukrainian military opened fire on the village of Zhovanka near Gorlovka. The Ukrainian army’s recon drones were noted on this direction.
On the Donetsk segment of the contact line, the Kiev army opened fire on the areas of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint and of “Volvo-Center” with artillery, mortars, the weaponry of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, and small arms.
There is no information on the destructions and victims among the civilian population.
On August 6th, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 74 times. 28 front-line towns and villages of the Republic came under Ukrainian military’s fire. According to DPR PM Command, one serviceman of the Republic was killed by Ukrainian army’s fire.
