Though a ceasefire is to become operational on April 1st, combat continues along the whole contact line, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on March 31th.
The situation is tense on the Gorlovka part of the contact line. The Ukrainian military is shelling the northern and western suburbs of the city with heavy artillery, banned by the Minsk Agreements. One house on Rybalko street in Zaytsevo was damaged by the direct struck of the shell.
Trench combat continues on the Donetsk part of the front, in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone, “Volvo-Center”, and in the suburbs of Trudovskiye. There is no information on victims and destruction.
The situation also remains tense in the south of DPR. The Ukrainian army is provoking combat in the area of Kominternovo.
According to recent data, during the past day, March 30th, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 57 times. 23 towns and villages of the Republic were shelled. During the past week, the Ukrainian side fire 5,417 shells and mortars on the territory of DPR.
