The Ukrainian army does not adhere to the ceasefire, established since 0.00 AM of April 1st, but the Ukrainian side significantly decreased the volume of the shelling of DPR territory, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 1st.
During the day, the Ukrainian side violated the ceasefire at the different part of the front. Trench combat of variable intensity erupted in the areas of Zaytsevo, of Avdeevka industrial zone, and in the south of the Republic.
At 11.45 AM, the enemy opened fire on the Donetsk water filtration plant, where the maintenance works were conducting at that moment, with 120 mm mortars. Maintenance crews were evacuated.
According to DPR PM Command, during the past day, one serviceman was killed, and another one was injured.
On March 31st, the day before the establishment of the “Easter” ceasefire, the Ukrainian military shelled 28 towns and villages in DPR, 17 houses and school building were damaged. The Petrovsky district of Donetsk, Yasinovataya, and the village of Dzerzhinskoye in the Novoazovsky district of the Republic were heavily shelled.
In the evening, several hours before midnight, the Ukrainian army fired incendiary ammunitions on the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint.
