Azerbaijan claims it will cease the military operation in Karabakh, fortify the captured territory

Azerbaijan made the decision to unilaterally cease all military operations in Nagorny Karabakh and fortify the territories captured and occupied by the country yesterday, head of Azerbaijan Defense Ministry press-service Vagif Dyargakhly told RIA Novosti on Sunday.

“Based on peacefulness and the urging of international organizations, Azerbaijan made the decision to unilaterally cease all military operations and fortify the territories liberated yesterday,” Dyargakhly stated.

According to him, “in the case Armenian side will continue provocative activities, the response of the Azerbaijan side will be harsh, and the decision to resume offensive operations will be made.”
