Ex-general staff adviser calculates what it costs Israel to repel the attack

14.04.2024, Israel.

It could cost Israel 4-5 billion shekels ($1-1.3 billion) to repel an Iranian attack, former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) general staff finance adviser Brigadier General Ram Aminah said on April 14, Ynet reported.

We are talking about 4-5 billion shekels for defense overnight,” Aminah stated.

Earlier, the IDF said that Iran fired more than 300 items – some 170 drones, more than 30 cruise missiles and more than 120 ballistic missiles – in the direction of Israel overnight.

Meanwhile, according to the IDF, the Israeli Air Force and air defense systems, supported by Israel’s partners, intercepted 99% of all these targets, most of them outside the Jewish state. At the same time, some targets fell inside Israeli territory. There was minor damage to a military base in the south of the country.
