On the morning of January 30, Kiev junta’s punitive forces shelled the positions of Armed Forces of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the vicinity of former Donetsk Airport, according to the source in the Defense Ministry, Donetsk News Agency reports today.
“At 9 o’clock, Ukrainian fighting units opened fire on the positions of solders of DPR Armed Forces in the vicinity of the airport,” the source said.
He added that during the shelling the enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.
During the night, punitive forces shelled the northern outskirts of Donetsk, including the airport area and area of “Volvo-Center” in the Kuibyshevsky district of the capital.
