Ukraine has fully suspended the export of animal and agricultural food products to Crimea and Sevastopol, according to the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
Despite several border checkpoints registering isolated instances of trucks with agricultural products crossing the border during the first days of the so-called “blockade” organized by the “Right Sector“, the trucks later stopped bringing food products altogether.
Before the freight traffic was suspended, over two thousand tons of vegetables and potatoes and over 700 tons of fruit were exported to Crimea per week.
