A sharp increase in the intensity of shelling and evidence of sabotage by the Ukrainian army is noted in an urgent statement by the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the REGNUM news agency reported on February 19.
It is reported that the intensity of shelling of the territory of the Donetsk Republic has sharply increased. The enemy used 122mm caliber artillery, as well as 120mm and 82mm mortars. Ten populated areas have been shelled over the day.
Reconnaissance of the DPR People’s Militia reported the movement of tanks and large-caliber artillery of the Ukrainian armed forces, namely six 122ьь 2S1 “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery vehicleы, ten 2A36 Hyacinth B 152 mm towed howitzers, eleven tanks and the supply of ammunition.
There were attempts of sabotage activities by the Ukrainian army on the territory of the DPR. Thus, yesterday saboteurs attempted to liquidate the head of the DPR People’s Militia Department Denis Sinenkov – his car was blown up.
Today, a sabotage group attacked a transformer substation that supplies electricity to water pumping stations, threatening the water supply to more than forty settlements. The Ukrainian side is trying to sow panic among the civilian population by distributing leaflets in Donetsk.
