The situation at the front line is escalating.
The Ukrainian army continues to attack the positions of Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) and redeploys tactical ballistic missiles “Tochka-U” to the front line.
36 villages and towns of the Republic were shelled by the Ukrainian artillery. The highest intensity of the shelling was observed in Donetsk city, Makeevka, Yasinovatya, and Dokuchaevsk towns. The Kiev junta’s punitive forces used multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), heavy artillery, tanks, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, and small arms.
The information about victims is being specified. At the moment, one civilian (a woman) killed and another 2 injured were reported. DPR PM Operations Command reported a militiaman killed and another one injured for the day.
Over 40 houses, a kindergarten, and a school were damaged in villages and towns of the Republic as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian war criminals.
6 villages in the south of the Republic were left without electricity. The power supply is being restored.
Donetsk and Verkhnekalmiusskaya water filtration plants are being continuously shelled. They were left without power supply several times during the day. The maintenance crews already resumed the operation of the plants.
Yesterday in the evening, the Ukrainian army fired a missile of the “Buk” missile system at the drone of OSCE mission while the latter was registering the violations of the ceasefire on the part of the Ukrainian side. The missile landed in the area of Makeevka town hospital No. 5 without reaching its target.
According to DPR PM Operations Command information, the Ukrainian army lost up to 93 people killed and around 100 injured.
DPR PM recon reported that the commander of the 72nd Independent Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian army Sokolov received an order to continue the attacks on the DPR PM positions in Yasinovataya town. The Ukrainian Command allowed the unrestricted heavy artillery shelling of DPR towns and villages.
Two attack helicopters of the Ukrainian army were spotted near the town of Avdeevka, but there is no information on their use in combat.
DPR PM recon spotted 2 tactical ballistic missiles “Tochka-U” near Kramatorsk town. Up to a battery of self-propelled gun “Gvozdika” and a battery of MLRS “Grad” were registered near Skuchnoye township and Galitsinovka village, respectively.
According to updated information, yesterday, 31st January, the Ukrainian military criminals violated the ceasefire 3,016 times. The enemy, violating the Minsk Agreement, fired 490 MLRS “Grad” rockets, 839 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 6 tank shells, 842 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds. Anti-aircraft guns, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, and small arms were used.
