Situation in DPR remains tense, the shelling continues

On the Donetsk direction, the village of Krutaya Balka and the town of Yasinovataya were shelled. Electric power was lost in the village of Vasilievka because of the damaged power lines. Moreover, the Ukrainian side shelled the pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbassky water pipeline near Yasinovataya. 9 houses were damaged. The Ukrainian army used 122mm artillery and mortars of various calibers. In the south of the Republic, the villages of Sakhanka and Kominternovo came under artillery fire. 2 houses were damaged.

Rallies in support of economic integration with Russia held in DPR and LPR

Massive rallies in support of the establishment of the DPR management over the enterprises under Ukrainian jurisdiction and of the enhancement of economic ties with Russia were held in Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, RIA Novosti news agency informed in February 28th.
In Donetsk People’s Republic, the residents of a large industrial city of Yenakievo and employees of Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works, which stopped working because of the Ukrainian blockade against Donbass, held the rally in the downtown. Around 10,000 people supported the establishment of the DPR management over the enterprises.
A large rally was held in Lugansk, where over 7,000 people demanded to lift the blockade against Donbass.

Turchinov: I wanted to capture Yanukovich and force him to resign

Turchinov acknowledged that he has known that all procedures of impeachment are spelled out in the Ukrainian constitution. “According to the Constitution, the President can die, can get ill, can go mad; in these cases, he can be declared having no legal capacity. He can himself resign from his position. But there is no such term as “president in flight” in the Constitution,” the SNBO Secretary stated. Ukrainian army is shelling the DPR towns and villages with tanks

To the north of Donetsk, the area of former Donetsk airport, the area of “Volvo-center”, the villages of Yakovlevka and Spartak came under the Ukrainian army’s artillery fire. We again brought medicine to Sophie from Yasinovataya. Noophen and Mukosat medical products were bought thanks to a donation from our friend Pedro from Wales. Due to the regular shelling of Yasinovataya the girl’s heart problems got worse. We also brought new puzzles to Sophie, because she loves to do puzzles.

DPR and LPR Spetsnaz competition in tactical shooting

13 teams, 8 from Donetsk People’s Republic and 5 from Lugansk People’s Republic, took part in the competition. The participants honed their skills in shooting from various positions and shooting on the move. All servicemen demonstrated very good results, and the lead between the teams was minimal.
In these days of another escalation at the front, such competitions are of extreme importance as they allow to identify the gaps in the combat training of the servicemen and in the coordination between the units.
