A group of Ukrainian army soldiers stationed near Gorlovka took their commanders prisoners and demanded to withdraw them from the zone of Kiev junta’s punitive operation (so-called “antiterrorist operation” − Editor), threatening the prisoners with weapons, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin informed Donetsk News Agency on March 14th.

According to DPR intelligence information, the soldiers of the 3rd airmobile battalion of the 79th independent air mobile brigade stationed in Rozovka township near Gorlovka took their battalion commanders prisoners. The soldiers were threatening the commanders with weapons and, for two hours, demanding to withdraw them from the front, where the soldiers had appeared due to the rotation. Currently the group of soldiers is disarmed, the officers of SBU (Security Service of Ukraine – Editor) and psychologists “are working with them”.

DPR intelligence regularly informs about the low morale of the Ukrainian army soldiers as well as about the shootouts and clashes between the Ukrainian army units and “volunteer battalions” (punitive nationalist battalions – Editor).
