DPR: Kiev junta adopts standards of open terror by closing checkpoints and mining roads

16.02.2016, DPR.

The closing of border checkpoints by Ukrainian authorities and the mining of roads by punitive forces indicates that Kiev junta is adopting standards of open terror against the people of Donbass, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin claimed during his press conference at Donetsk News Agency.

In fact, Ukrainian army commanders are adopting the standards of open terror against the people of Donbass and complete blockade of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. For these reasons, Kiev junta not only closes border checkpoints, but also mines the busiest parts of roads and paths, which are used only by civilians,” Eduard Basurin said in his statement.

In the morning of February 10th, a passenger bus exploded on a mine near the Ukrainian checkpoint in village “Novomikhaylovka“ not far from Donetsk. Three people were killed in the explosion; about ten passengers were injured. DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated criminal proceedings of this accident.

On February 3rd, 2016, the Ukrainian authorities closed the checkpoints ” Mayorsk ” and “Zaytsevo” to the north and north-west of Gorlovka, and the checkpoint “Marinka” was closed on February 13th. Later, the last one was opened.
