27.01.2015 Militiamen donate blood to Donetsk citizens [EoT TV DPR, 331st issue]

Donetsk militiamen and citizens donate blood to the Donetsk citizens wounded in shelling.

This video shows an everyday life of one blood transfusion station in Donetsk. On average, there are about 50 blood donors a day (these donors are NOT paid). However, at the day of the report there were about 150 people, including militiamen. The donors have responded to the call which they heard on the television: there was a lack of blood for transfusion at Donetsk. The head of the Blood supply department highlighted in the interview that Donetsk residents do not stay indifferent to helping each other and donating blood.

In the second part of the video a woman from Donetsk whose daughter and a little grandson (under a year old) got shelled by the Ukrainian army on January 22, 2015, at Donetsk’s Bosse bus station. 13 citizens have died in the shelling at the hand of the Ukrainian junta; at least seven got injured there on that day. The daughter’s leg was on the verge of being amputated because there was not enough blood of the required type for transfusion. People of Donetsk People’s Republic responded to the grief of the woman and came to the blood transfusion station. This woman especially thanked the militiamen from the “Essence of Time” unit (“Vostok” battalion), who have arrived directly from the frontline (from the Donetsk airport position) to donate their blood.

A couple of days after, the district where this blood transfusion station is located, got shelled by the Ukrainian army. As a result, the doctors of the station were injured and a driver of ambulance was killed. The medical institution was damaged as well.

There are no words to describe such war crimes.
