There is a real danger of a nuclear war in the world, said Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the Últimas Noticias reports on March 9.
Maduro explained that in the first stage the world war has an economic character. “The world war at the first stage is economic, with sanctions, blockades, uncertainty in prices, in the supply of food, raw materials, energy, in the use of the financial system to twist the hands of the regions,” he said.
Venezuela’s President has warned of the danger of a nuclear war. “There is a real danger that a nuclear war will break out in the world, and Venezuela is now ringing the bell and calling for the awakening of world consciousness,” Maduro stressed.
He added that Venezuela currently plays an important role in world geopolitics, noting that “our word has weight and value in the world.”
Earlier, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said that the West is waging an economic war against Russia, using the dollar, financial and commercial systems. “What they are doing against the Russian people is a crime,” he stressed.
In response to Russia’s special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, Western countries began to impose additional sanctions on the Russian Federation, which have already provoked a sharp rise in world prices for energy and other resources necessary for the economic development.
