Mobilization in the Western countries has become an almost inevitable constant due to the plans of investments into the defense sector and return to mandatory military service in Europe, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on July 10 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
The key question, according to the political scientist, is who is supposed to fight. And Ukraine claims it is ready due to its million-strong army holding the front.
He also noted that a stake on the Bandera Nazi ideology in the context of the coming elections would not bring an electoral victory to Kiev because the radical rightists have within 2-4 million supporters; the current authorities govern the country through political technologies rather than based on the outcome of a voting.
Kurginyan indicated that over a very long period the army in Russia has been an institution performing its direct duties, and it is not a political force. Ukraine, in contrast, is gradually transforming into a state where the military has an increasing political influence.
Meanwhile, the right-wing radical ideology is merging with the army, because there can be no other ideology. Respectively, the 700-800 thousand people whom the philosopher calls “an infinitely dark core” of the current Ukrainian politics begin to infiltrate the military as a political force.
“Roughly speaking, Bandera is needed by the army but not by the electorate,” Kurginyan explained, and he added that this is what exposes the true plans of Vladimir Zelensky.
“I already said this and I will repeat it again, because it is highly important: for Ukraine to get maximum support anywhere, it should only say that ‘aggressive authoritarian’ Russia ‘attacked’ ‘free democratic Ukraine supporting the Western values of freedom and law’ etc,” the political scientist stressed.
According to Kurginyan, the intensification of the Bandera Nazi ideology, including portraits in state institutions and torchlight processions, deters the Western elites, especially the Poles, but Kiev deliberately does so because the task of fascistization is a priority in contrast to obtaining European aid, and the internal struggle is going for the role of a “Fuhrer” but not of a legitimately elected leader.
“And in a competition for a Fuhrer everything is decided by these groups: first you win the competition for the Fuhrer and then demonstrate that you are accepted etc, and then you will be approved if you are necessary,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement explained.
